To manage the trial and the licence, the Application sends to our server a device identifier (a technical fingerprint generated locally) together with minimal technical metadata (platform, model, application version). During any exchange with the server, it may also record the approximate country code provided by the network through Cloudflare, along with its detection date. The Application does not ask for your name, your contacts, or your GPS location. The licence and device database does not store IP addresses or precise location. The Cloudflare/nginx infrastructure may, however, process or log the connection IP address according to its own retention periods. The voluntary forms on the website are described separately below.
The sources and playlists you add are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, depending on the method available in your version of the Application. We neither receive nor store your card details. The provider may process your email address and payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
The private "Test Lumio" form collects, with your explicit consent, a first name or nickname, an email address, the device type, and your availability. This information is used solely to select participants and organise the interview. It is sent to the Lumio administrators by email and by an administrative WhatsApp notification, is not used for advertising purposes, and is deleted within 90 days. You may withdraw your consent before the interview or request access to, rectification of, or deletion of this data via the contact link below. The general contact form processes in the same way the contact details and the message you choose to send, so that we can reply to you.
Device data, including the last approximate country code, is used only to: count down the trial period, validate the lifetime licence, administer devices, and prevent abuse. It is neither sold nor shared for advertising purposes.
The device identifier, the licence status, and the last approximate country code with its detection date are kept with the device record, including during the trial or after its expiration, until it is deleted. You may request this deletion at any time (see "Data Deletion").
Exchanges between the Application and our server are encrypted (HTTPS). The device identifier is a technical hash: it cannot be traced back to your identity.
You may request access to, rectification of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
The Application creates no account (email/password): the server data linked to the device is the technical identifier, the associated licence status and, when available, the last approximate country code and its detection date. To request its deletion, contact us with the subject line "Deletion of my data". We process requests within 30 days. Uninstalling the Application immediately deletes all local data (sources, playlists, records). Please note: deleting the identifier server-side may reset the trial/licence status for that device.
This website (separate from the Application) uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure audience and improve the site. These measurement cookies are enabled only with your consent: on your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse. As long as you have not accepted, no measurement takes place (Google Consent Mode set to "denied" by default). You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Google may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Note: the mobile Application itself performs no advertising tracking.
